HCPL’s Adventure Begins at Your Library Summer Reading Adventure 2024 is here and runs from Saturday, June 1 through Saturday, August 17!

As the summer sun stretches its warm embrace across Harford County, there’s an exciting invitation for book lovers of all ages: The 2024 Harford County Public Library’s Summer Reading Adventure!

Whether you’re a passionate page-turner or just starting to discover the joy of books, this annual event promises a journey filled with literary wonders and delightful surprises.

Readers of all ages can sign up at their local HCLP branch starting on June 1st. The program runs until August 17th so make sure you complete your reading goals by then!

Reading goals are easy and fun!

Infants to Preschoolers – 25 books

Elementary – 10 books

Middle & High School – 3 books

Adults – 5 books
