Earlier this week Annie’s Playground in Fallston, Maryland reopened after a $1.5 million dollar refurbishment. Since the playground had been closed for almost 4 months, we were excited to pop over and see all the changes. The first thing I noticed as we pulled up was the new color scheme. It feels so much brighter, more vibrant, and very inviting. The new layout is also much more open and has better sightlines to be able to keep an eye on or chase after your little ones. The rubber floor is also a great touch and way less messy than mulch!!
The playground is geared towards kids ages 2 -12. It’s broken into two sections, one for ages 2-5 and the other for 5-12. Annie’s Playground also has a large pavilion which is available to reserve for free. Reservations go quickly and must be booked in advance online via the Harford County Parks & Recreation website.
The playground is located at 864 Smith Lane, Fallston, MD 21047.
