Monday, March 21
- 11:00 am – Choo Choo Blue Story Time! Choo Choo Blue makes an appearance at Choo Choo Blue Kids Zone for a special story time featuring the classic railroad story, Every Cowgirl Needs a Horse by Rebecca Janni. Nellie Sue is a girl who can add a western flair to anything! Whether she’s cleaning up the animal sty (picking up her stuffed animals) or rounding up cattle (getting the neighborhood kids together for her birthday party), she does it like a true cowgirl. All she really is missing is a horse. However she just might get one if her imagination is strong enough. Make your own steam train! Following story time, families’ practice working and playing with others, while learning how to turn everyday craft supplies into an amazing steam train! Adult supervision required.

- 11:00 am – Choo Choo Blue Story Time! Choo Choo Blue makes an appearance at Choo Choo Blue Kids Zone for a special story time featuring the book, Cowboy Small by Lois Lenski. This simple and sweet story tells the tale of Cowboy Small, a hardworking and kind cowboy who takes good care of his horse, Cactus. In return, Cactus helps Cowboy Small get work done on the range. Together they round up cattle for branding and live the good life on the range. Filter Flowers! Following story time, make Filter Flowers! Learn all about color and desert flowers while designing your own desert flower.

- 11:00 am – Choo Choo Blue Story Time! Choo Choo Blue makes an appearance at Choo Choo Blue Kids Zone for a special story time featuring the classic railroad story, Cowboy Camp by Tammi Saver. This rootin’ tootin’ tale of an unlikely cowboy tells the story of Avery, a wacky cowboy, and his time at cowboy camp. Avery loves the idea of being a cowboy, but when he suddenly is not feeling up to the challenge, his time at cowboy camp takes a turn. When a bully threatens all the campers, Avery will have to decide if he has what it takes to be a cowboy hero and save the day. Make your own Cactus Circles! How high can you make your cactus garden?

There’s bulls that need ropin’, bandits that need catchin’, ponies that need racin’, and much more. In this fun and fluid rhyming story, kids learn that not all princesses wear pink and love glitter. “Some princesses wear their jewels while using power tools” one page tells us. The Colors of the Wind – Join us after story time to learn all about air flow while making colorful wind socks.

Learn how to make snow with Elsa and Anna in Arrendale. Race some frogs with Tiana in Maldonia. You can even mine for diamonds with Snow White and make mice friends with Cinderella in her castle. Rosie may seem reserved during the day, but at night she’s a brilliant inventor of wonderful creations. She dreams of becoming a great engineer. When her great-great-aunt Rose (Rosie the Riveter) comes for a visit and mentions her one unfinished goal – to fly- Rosie decides to build a contraption to make her aunt’s dreams come true.
- 11:30 am Princess Train Ride All aboard the B&O Mile One Express with Olaf and some of your favorite princesses for a round-trip train ride fit for any king or queen.
