The Creative Cow is one of my favorite places to visit with kids in Harford County.
The Creative Cow is a drop-in arts, crafts & activities studio for children in Forest Hill. The studio offers open-ended, child-directed activities focusing on process over the product. Their encouraging staff inspire children in a custom designed space.
Your child will be free to explore and CREATE a one of a kind composition using their endless supply of both traditional and unexpected art materials. They can plan, IMAGINE, and perform while engaging in dramatic play. We also offer the opportunity to design their own course of PLAY with Imagination Playground Blocks and multi-sensory activities. Their goal is to support parents in helping provide social, emotional, language, and thinking skills while nurturing creativity and imagination. The best part? You take your child’s masterpiece and leave the mess!!
They also have this awesome monthly class for children 9-24 months called Messy Mondays. I attended these regularly when my son was younger. They basically baby proof their party room and let the little ones go to town finger painting their own canvas. It’s so much fun and lives up to the name “Messy Mondays”. Most parents bring their children in a white onesie (easy to wash!) and bring a change of clothes for afterwards.
We are so excited to have partnered up with The Creative Cow to give three lucky winners a free open studio session to check it out! (Messy Mondays are excluded). Check out their web site or Facebook page for their current schedule.
